Even if it does have a worm, Ms. DePoint would recover. I am saying this as someone who has gotten food-poisoning 11 years ago from undercooked EGGS (which way more serious than eating an apple that possible has a worm in it.)

If it has a worm in it, that means it’s organic. Bugs and insects love organic fruits and veggies. But you still have to clean them off (but with an apple, you won’t know unless you slice it first.)
