A wonderful celebration of ‘sustained excellence’ in nurture. We received our Nurture UK reaccreditation from our Director of Education Dr Ratter and the Convener of Education Cllr Anderson. Our Pupil Leadership Team led the way and told them all about nurture at Neilston and Madras. 🤩

Sad to say goodbye to our colleague Ellis after 11 years working for Quakers in Britain. Grateful for all he's done for us and the peace education movement. Wishing him well for the future.

Thanks to a kind gift from a Quaker, we will be able to print and send a copy of the report to every Quaker Meeting in Britain this Autumn. We hope Friends will spread David's message that education can help young people to shape a more just, more inclusive world. www.quaker.org.uk/documents/pe...

This is 2022 video we made with our Friend David Gee, the author of 'Peace at the Heart: A relational approach in British schools'. David sadly died late last year. His work on this and so many other peace endeavours continues to be a touchstone for the work.

Interesting! Dewey is contributed to the development of peace education. After WWI he worked hard on education as a means to challenge war, "more difficult for the flames of hatred and suspicion to sweep over this country in the future"
