If you can manage allergies, I used to volunteer at a shelter and loved it. You just have to not mind coming home dirty and you definitely have to be okay with cleaning up poop.

That's a shame! There's so many indie theaters in NY that I think would have shown the movie. There's like 2 near me that show smaller movies all the time.
