i want to call them a miracle. i want to say prometheus broke free and did us another solid. but that would be unfair to the all the men and women who worked to grow our understanding to the point we were capable of eradicating smallpox. that didn't just *happen*. we *made that*.

few things make me see red like medical quackery and of that vaccine disinformation is among the worst. vaccines are one of the best things that the human race has ever produced. an incredible, towering testament to our ability to take care of each other on a scale never seen before

that’s every door in my house all year round. We don’t latch the door to Isaac’s room at night because it both catches in the frame so it makes a loud THUNK but also it creaks super loudly despite the application of WD-40 to the hinges
