it’s probably just purely for gameplay reasons but if you want to integrate it into a story i always thought it would be fun to have the same characters be in multiple places at the same time because things are weird

this is something i think abt a lot because i don’t know what the plan was from the start but as time passed the characters became more individualized to the point where now we have dd2 where it’s pretty undebatable that the characters are individuals
