I dug this cushion cover out of the “hibernating” box, and found I only have ten more rounds to finish. I started it a couple of years ago, and the centre panel is studded with beads. Yarn is The Croft DK from West Yorkshire Spinners. Needle size is 4 mm, huge compared to my usual sock needles 😆

Toe up, centre-sole gusset with short row heel & integrated heel-flap. Once I discovered this method, I use it on all my sock designs on Ravelry, and I convert other patterns I’m knitting to this method. The result is a better, stretchier fit over the instep.
