The world is not "Running out of oil."
The world is running out of cheap oil with current production.
Most wells only tap 20-40% of the oil in a given pocket.
It's just once you get past the initial portion, it becomes progressively more expensive to tap the rest.

I don't even care if people bring in notes to the booth, even just looking up the NAMES of the people they're voting for AND writing them down is more than I feel 80% of Americans do.
The fact we have straight-ticket option gives me fuckin hives.

I think the USA would be well served to remove party affiliation from ballots. So voters would at least have to know for whom they're voting.

For the record, I'm really glad I had the opportunity to learn what utensils to use and when, I'm glad I know how to do some basic dances, and I'm glad I don't feel 100% out of place at fancy dinners.
