As an update, he is indeed big mad

I saw company that makes rings out of solid industrial diamonds recently and I just...

(if you click on statbank and try fucking around a Lil bit you'll realize just how much data they collect)
December 5, 2025 at 10:41 PM
Have not had a census since 1971.

I think its also just because the danish government really really likes to have good data, so only knowing how many are in DK every few years just won't do for proper proactive legislating
December 5, 2025 at 10:38 PM
How many Abrams that could have gone to Ukraine is that.
December 5, 2025 at 10:17 PM
Yeah, the census thing is weird to me. That just isn't needed here.
We all get a cpr number when we are born, and a place in the central person register. And when we die we get taken off the register.
December 5, 2025 at 10:07 PM
Well we just get letters digitally most of us. Very rare to get paper mail these days.

And some random took over the job I think.
December 5, 2025 at 10:03 PM
With no alternatives to be clear
December 5, 2025 at 10:02 PM
But then it's very funny sometimes.
Just get a printed out version of the mail.
Big green Button on the middle of the paper to press to complain about the thing.

And the mail saying to complain you had to press the button.
December 5, 2025 at 10:01 PM
Now tbf we get most of our government and other mail digital through digital post. It's only if you are so old you can't use a computer you get to receive paper.
December 5, 2025 at 10:01 PM
I mean the danish national service, well the nordic one? They kinda merged a while back.
Just stopped delivering letters.
December 5, 2025 at 9:59 PM
My shoulder? I did that to myself by being a dumb kid.

My knee? I just really fucking unlucky.
December 5, 2025 at 9:58 PM
Yeah i mean ultimately you are right, but it often feels like they are more restrained when they do have cause to act, than is maybe called for.

There is plenty of situations where the EU would benefit from flexing some of its leverage, but it doesn't because it's... I guess it's best described as afraid of its own power.
December 5, 2025 at 5:12 PM
But it is not lacking
December 5, 2025 at 5:07 PM
Yeah that is an example, I'm also just being more general with basically everything the EU can regulate. And it's not just the US market.

The EU getting called a regulatory superpower is not for nothing.

Its still piss scared to actually excersize any of the enormous soft/economic power it has.
December 5, 2025 at 5:07 PM
Strong harmonized, standardized, and strict regulations in the EU mean if you produce for here, you can sell elsewhere.

Has the effect of EU standards becoming global standards.

This used to be part of what made the US so powerful.
December 5, 2025 at 5:02 PM
They'll do the attempted infoops so poorly it'll do the exact opposite of what they want.
December 5, 2025 at 4:56 PM
I mean it's not really gonna work but they are welcome to try I guess.
December 5, 2025 at 4:55 PM
The "that's not us strategy"-clip, it haunts me.
December 5, 2025 at 11:51 AM
They probably think they can just go the other way around or just CSG for that.

If they thought that far ahead that is.
