one of the disqualifying things about this is that hegseth writes this garbage as if he’s the first person in history to have ever considered these issues
“Should we follow the Geneva Conventions?” Pete Hegseth asked in 2024.

It’s almost as if there were signs!

Hegseth wasn't chosen as merely a Fox News buffoon who then bumbles his way into war crimes out of machismo incompetence. He was chosen specifically because he is, and has been for a long time, a proud, open, and explicit advocate of war crimes as a good thing we should do.
A chapter in Hegseth’s book is literally titled “More Lethality, Less Lawyers.”

i’d push back on this a little — from the start, the MAHA pitch ended with buying the wellness scams and supplements its leaders directly sold (or profited from via affiliate marketing). they haven’t really hidden it
The MAHA pitch was supposed to be that Americans don’t really need insurance, vaccines, or other “establishment” medical care — they just need better nutrition and less exposure to environmental toxins.

As a Bears fan I MUST not be hearing this right.

"The governor is a big fat slob."

I once asked a bookseller at a large indie store how many people would have to buy a book for it to get the attention of the store buyer and cause an additional order and they said: Three.
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.

Normally these guys wait until a politician they supported—who has nerves had to govern and thus cannot mar his purity with icky coalition building—is sworn in but hey, why not get a jump on things
Zohran adding YIMBYs to his transition team is resulting in some absolutely incredible Left NIMBY crashouts over on Twitter. This is my favorite.

This tracks but I don’t think anyone hint in the Epstein emails that Trump DID is any worse than what he’s already been accused of. I mean… I assume what he did to Clinton was consentual…
Trump's policies are inflicting so much harm even his allies can see it. Yet he's mostly doing exactly what he promised to. If they revolt over policy, they'll reveal they were fools to back him in the first place. They need a *moral* reason to abandon him. The Epstein files provide just that.

This is an opportunity for MTG and others on the right to reflect on all the violent threats Trump has incited through the years - including on Jan. 6.
