That's my feeling precisely.

Ah. Okay, well I'll just leave this here for others to read as a testament to my stupidity and to your brilliance.

I won't waste your time any further. 🤗

... aren't American politicians, that is actually the point I'm making' doesn't mean you're making the point that you 'think it is genuinely possible that more American leftists hate Jeremy Corbyn than hate Kemi Badenoch, and know that they aren't American politicians,' what DOES it mean?
December 1, 2025 at 10:04 PM
Yes, as it happens. Absolutely useless. Even now I need my mother to tie my shoelaces and I have, as you can see, the erudition of a trilobyte.

So... enlighten me. If 'I think it is genuinely possible that more American leftists hate Jeremy Corbyn than hate Kemi Badenoch, and I know that they...

They hate him because they're six years behind on the news front and get their news from old copies of the Daily Mail.

It's been surprising to watch them wittering on as if they know what they're talking about.

To be fair, they're not ALL like that. Some are better informed.

These days when I come across a particularly ridiculous antiCorbyn I just type 'Jeremy Corbyn ate my hamster' as a response and then mute them.

It gets stale.

Jeremy Corbyn ate my hamster.
December 1, 2025 at 9:48 PM
Ah, my shrift is very short these days.

I hit the 'Mute' button on people with such happy abandon that I'm rather surprised I'm left with anyone to talk with.

... Leader and, for now, it would be poetic justice if she were to become Supreme Leader of the mess she has created.

@jeremycorbyn.bsky.social Corbyn's time could be better spent. He has much less of it than she has, and has wasted too much of it already since 2015 thanks to all the mischief.

... her the best of luck with it.

I don't dislike @zarahsultana.bsky.social Sultana. I agree with her on many things. She may yet become a force in UK politics if she learns to be rather less impetuous, and if she does that will be a force, overall, for good.

But she needs to be Supreme...

This is why Shabana Mahmood is being groomed as the candidate of the Reform wing of the party.

... GE, and whatever indignities the McSweeney faction may be happy to put themselves through in doing their little dance for vested interests, I suspect even for them that'd be a prance too far.
December 1, 2025 at 9:26 PM
Why is Streeting still spoken of as a contender? The bloke barely scraped a win in his seat in '24 with seats falling to Labour left, right, and centre. (Particularly right). Betting is against him winning it again at the next GE.

I don't think we've ever seen a sitting PM lose their seat in a...

... or get the Tories' in '24 has now become 'Vote for us or get Reform', but it rings hollow. Plaid, the SNP, the Greens, even the LibDems are increasingly likely beneficiaries of tactical voting now.

If Labour is serious about winning in '29, it needs to change its leader. Not least because...

... plus.

Instead, on 11%, they got only a little over half their polling average.

The Masters of Tactical Voting in '24 have now found their beast turn around and bite 'em. Tactical voting worked in Caerphilly in keeping out Reform, but it worked against Labour.

The siren call of 'Vote for us...

... Reform. All Labour does right now is queer the pitch for feinting left when it clearly isn't.

Caerphilly needs to be an object lesson. It was about more than Labour losing the seat. The seat was a Labour stronghold. The very least they should have expected was their polling average...

Our best bet where Labour is concerned is for a change of leader, NOT for another McSweeney puppet, but for someone markedly further left. Then we can seriously consider a left alliance against the Tories and...
