One of the things I love about @swiftleeds.co.uk: the attention to detail. This is one of the nicest conference badges I've ever gotten.

Great slides, much attention to detail, @chriswu.com !

I know I should be working on my slides for @swiftleeds.co.uk, but this weather is just too good to be true.

PSA: Gemini 1.5 models are fast approaching their retirement date (September 24th). This means any apps using these models will get 404 errors.

You should update to newer models to avoid service disruption. We generally recommend using Remote Config...

On today's Firebase After Hours livestream, Firebase Studio PM Kirupa vibe-coded an app that uses @NanoBanana to generate isometric dioramas.

And look at how well it captured my office space!

The "cozy room" prompt also works well for other rooms. Here is my kitchen:

I always wanted to have one of those 3D isometric tiny room illustrations of my office.

Nano Banana was able to create this super realistic version of my room (source photo in the first reply)

"These go to 11"

Did you know that you can adjust the number of corners on the "pentagon" shape in Keynote?

Check out the video in the first comment to learn how!

Starting with iOS 26, you can use `ToolbarItem(placement: .largeTitle)` to set the large title of a view. But I am sure this is not how this how this should look like.

Code in the first reply.

At first, I thought this means that @zottmann.dev's trick for accessing Gemini is not longer required - but it turns out this seems to be something different.

Anybody knows more about what exactly FB155337963 is about?

If you think this is every bit as annoying as it sounds like - you're right.

Setting up new model providers now requires jumping through a couple of hoops. I was able to make it work by using Raycast's clipboard history.

Anybody else stuck on this dialog when trying to add any Swift packages (both local and remote ones)? This is happening on all beta versions of Xcode 26, but not Xcode 16.4.0.

Started happening today.

It’s honestly a bit shocking they carry red tape labelled “A/C out of order” as part of their default train equipment.
