Here's a couple of the many White-throated Sparrows that are still around... foraging for seeds in the wildlife gardens. This is their favourite spot. It's easier to pick seeds off the path than having to forage through the organic debris and leaf litter.

A couple of Dark-eyed Juncos turned up to feed in the wildlife gardens... with a good House Sparrow size comparison - about the same size.

Aphids in your gardens? Consider yourself lucky!
All sorts of migratory birds will visit to feed on them. A few days ago it was a Tennessee Warbler and for the last few days it has been a pair of Ruby-crowned Kinglets.

I counted about 300 and I wasn't even outside that much today.

Cooper's Hawk
It was a very busy day for the Pigeons today. As well as the local Red-tailed Hawks there was a lot of activity from the Cooper's Hawks and a migrating Sharp-shinned Hawk.
