Agreed. Adherence/concordance is typically multi-factorial, so these simplistic one-dimensional interventions interventions only work in a small % of patients. We need to delve into each person’s unique barriers

Using ED stats for BC, this is ~279,000 ED visits in BC each year:
- 103,000 hospital admission/year
- Cost upwards of $2 billion/year
The burden on pts & systems is immense!
