💭 How do you define networking?

✅ Talking an employer in an industry of interest
✅ Identifying potential clients in mutual topics
✅ Reconnecting with an old friend

But the question is always...

"𝑊ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑑𝑜 𝑤𝑒 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑛 𝑡𝑎𝑙𝑘 𝑎𝑏𝑜𝑢𝑡?"

Happy Mother's Day to my female professionals in healthcare!

You are all super heroes to be able to balance the care you give to your patients and the love you give to your children. May today and onward give your blessings beyond your imagination.

I decided to share my FIRST "Pharm For Thought" blog article on Medical Writing for Student Pharmacists and by extension, students in other health professions.

Feel free to share.

Nothing is more powerful than a mental reset after weeks of investing in a huge project or test.

It's one of the best ways to combat burn out and periods of feeling unmotivated which can be detrimental for things like writer's block.

What do you do for self care?

As a PharmD, I learned medical abbreviations as a quick but effective way to communicate with HCPs. But as a writer I always have to remember my audience.

Communications relies on experts being able to translate complex concepts to a wider pool of people outside their profession.

Yesterday I had the honor of presenting at my niece's STEM Committee Career Panel.

This is the first time I've ever properly represented my profession post-graduation and it was a treat to share with these middle-high schoolers the different avenues of pharmacy!

Today is International Long COVID Awareness Day.

COVID has put people out of work and some unable to maximize their work performance due to long COVID symptoms. Thus, it's important to reduce stigma and listen to stories of people infected/disabled by Long COVID.
