Fair point. What I’m really concerned about is buttering the toast. I don’t think you’ll find that in the batting manual!

I don’t think it’s that odd. Cold, day old pizza is a Saturday morning staple

IMO It’s an intentional stance to appeal to right leaning voters. Crazy strategy that will bite them on the arse

😂😂😂 really good political conference speeches are defined by the party leader giving a speech and being booed of stage aren’t they.

High time. There is easy enough housing in this country already it’s just that it’s far too easy to buy and rent out properties

I’d really like to see one, never have. My girlfriend has, I’d never heard of them until she told me about seeing this bird run up a tree. Im a bit jealous

There are some really bad consequences of tidal, hydro and nuclear unfortunately from an environmental perspective and mankind needs an environment to live in. There are no simple golden bullet answers to this problem

If the production of carbon based fuel had to bear the cost of the damage it did then it would be more than possible (I hope) to produce economically viable ‘ethical’ green energy
phil0sophicai.bsky.social
Not wanting to sound like a heartless bastard, although obviously I’m now at risk of doing just that I feel that green energy is vital - the alternative is not an alternative, but I totally agree it shouldn’t be sourced in the way you describe. The Congo’s history is grim enough already
phil0sophicai.bsky.social
Already detecting a change in the language used at the conference to make themselves sound more progressive so I think they are worried
phil0sophicai.bsky.social
I suspect what they mean by environmentally is what happens to the location afterwards, although often there are lots of promises made and not kept in this regard - just look at that open cast coal mine in wales for a recent example

Totally agree. Lobbying system is broken

Option 1: Stop selling arms to a genocidal regime, impose sanctions, and empower Palestinian self-rule.

Option 2: Wheel out Tony (we can't believe we're writing this) Blair to govern the Gaza strip.

Which one will the government go for do you think?
'Two-buttons' meme that reads:

End all arms sales to Israel and put a stop to the genocide

Wheel out Tony Blair to be in charge of Gaza

Great explanation as to why this is another terrible idea from this sh*t show of a govt

Govt claims requiring all adults in Britain to have “digital ID” will “help control borders” and “illegal immigtation”.

That could only be true if police are given powers to require ID, without suspicion of a crime.

A 🧵explaining why:

I’ve heard from a good source he’s planning on changing his name to Nigel
