York northern bypass dualling faces the axe as Station Gateway project costs spiral
Residents were softened up for some bad news on plans to dual the A1237 northern bypass a couple of weeks ago. Two Labour Councillors indulged in some preemptive handwringing and blame shifting. Despite Labour being in control at Council, Mayoral and central government levels, it was always going to be someone else who was at fault. The project, and the similarly affected Station Gateway scheme, face a financial meltdown. The funds promised to .pay for the schemes haven't materialised against a background of delays and high inflation on building costs. A constant procession of specification and contract changes has seen the station project spiral in cost from £25 million to £54 million.

In recent years, they all paid their execs more than they paid in taxes.

And they did it for money. Money they had no need for.

The result? They lost billions and billions.

The worst deal with the devil ever.

Just 24% tax as well, he's not an entrepreneur, these shares exist simply to avoid tax on income!

These loopholes mean the rest of us pay higher taxes as a result of people like Clegg retaining multi millionaire status!
Nick Clegg, former Deputy Prime Minister, has sold £19 MILLION in Meta shares
He has £21 MILLION left to sell

Genuine question
Is there any former major Cabinet Minister of any party whose political ambition has NOT been for personal financial benefit in the end?
