I don't think Keane makes Tarks play worse - I think Branthwaite makes him play better. Sometimes a partnership can be better than the sum of its parts, and I think they have a great partnership.

This is good news. He'll be back to his best once he has Branthwaite next to him.

(That's not knocking Keane, who has been good this season, by the way. It's just that JB brings the best out of the players around him, particularly Tarks 🤷🏻‍♂️).

Still think Branthwaite coming back into the team significantly improves us - the difference this season is that it should be from a higher bar (hopefully still in the top half when he come back in, rather than in/close to the bottom 3, like the last coupla seasons 🤷🏻‍♂️).

At various points, it seemed like this was gonna be my worst week yet on fantasy footy.

But in the end, I got up to a respectable enough 67pts - not my best week yet (72pts) but far from my worst (52pts) 🤷🏻‍♂️

Not gonna try and claim too many positives from that first half - we weren't great and Palace (the only unbeaten team in the league btw, so no mugs) have been better than us so far.

That said, we're only 1-0 at half time, so I'm not entering full doom & gloom mode just yet.

Hmm. My weekend's fantasy footy got off to a decent enough start last night (18pts from one player) - but the 3 players I had in action today only scored 5pts between them 🙉

Decent haul needed from the rest of the team tomorrow please...
