I found a phone system with a new evil thing.
Called em, got put in the phone queue, then got: "Did you know you can get results quicker on our app? We can text you information, or press 4 to stay on and wait"
Every cycle it changed the number, and if you didn't respond in time it hung up on you.

Almost time to pull out Holiday Lights v2 (1995)
Had a fire drill at work.
Had to walk down something like 30 flights of stairs.
I got on the bus and came home. I was in the door and at my desk faster than the people on my floor could get back in the building.
Colossal waste of time and energy, going performatively into the office today.

Ugh, the light curtain that I got from Amazon for twenty bucks turned out to be worth far less. It's got no gentle lighting modes, only on, slow all-over fade in/out, and photosensitivity hazard blinkies. Lame. Guess I get what I pay for!
