I hope the recipient thinks so! Thank you! I made it for my observer on my advanced driving course. They are volunteers, and give up a lot of time to help people like me. She admired my scarf so I wanted to make her one.

This is the scarf I knitted, then had to frog half because I made a mistake, and then finally finished it today! 🧶

I think it’s beautiful knitted up. On the ball it didn’t look so good as it does knitted.

Oh no! I suppose everyone makes mistakes! I was looking forward to finishing it… never mind! It frogged a lot better than mohair!

Thanks for the sympathy which is much appreciated. Can’t believe I didn’t think!! I’ve started again on the second half. Hopefully got it the right way round now!

Yes, I’ve just been reading! It looks amazing. I’ll be sure to let my friend know. I didn’t want to mess up such a much loved project, and this feels like a good way to help my friend get the poncho finished without me making a mess of it! Thanks again, I’m so glad I posted now. ❤️

… and I also think it would take me over a year to do it at the rate I knit. I think I’m going to have to say I can’t help with it; it is not just a case of knitting a neck, which is what I thought originally. I’d love to help, but I only started knitting last January, and it feels huge!
