I sympathise with the museum, and the IDF's behaviour is reprehensible, but taking down #OpenLicence content is not the answer.

The IDF are problematic for a number of reasons – mass murder, other war crimes – but I'm disappointed to see they are also poisoning the digital commons:

Reminds me of the time I invoiced Times Radio for a five-minute interview appearance and they replied with about a dozen documents, mostly long, one of which I was supposed to sign to say I had read all the others.

An hour or two's work, for which I was not offered payment.

This is a lie.

There are many criticisms you might sensibly and truthfully make of the Sentencing Council and the Sentencing Guidelines. I’ve been making them for years.

But this is an outright lie. Pure fabrication. A fraud on the public.
