Should be noted Ireland had a civil war over accepting a treaty that ended the war of independence without the full control over the island. Though I doubt that is what Zelensky was referencing.

This is about athletics but could easily apply to most sports. I find it all very dystopian that brain-dead gimmickry and celebrity tomfoolery are seen as the future of sport. Personally I think this is all short-sighted & will erode the foundations of any sport that goes too far down that path […]
