Got around to replacing all of my weapon vending machines with custom assets/materials. Much more space efficient and you get item names before purchasing. #UEFN #unreal

For those that are having trouble getting flat even lighting across your islands/maps my preferred method is to use the Ch5 cycle (world settings) and set a fixed time of day and adjust the Skylight intensity in a Day Sequence Device. #UEFN

If you are having LOD mesh issues after this last UEFN/Fortnite update I found that by checking and then unchecking the 'auto compute LOD distances' box in the static mesh details, fixed my issues. Might be worth a try. Good luck!

Does anyone know if this is a new setting in the TRACKER device? If we are not using any save data or persistence what does this actually do then? I was having some recent tracker round issues and was wondering if I need to turn this option on. #UEFN

Does anyone know if there's a way in #UEFN to create multiple material instances from a single material all at once? I would rather not have to right-click to create each one separately. #unrealengine #materials

ok, I keep on adding more options to this one. Added in a static rotation option and also an option for animated rotates. Somone suggested adding in panning but I think that will be more difficult the way I have it set up. #uefn #materials #unreal

I wasn't fully happy with the result so I adjusted the material a bit more. Took out the 2nd scale which I don't think did anything different than the 1st and then added in a smoothStep to let me adjust the middle or out blend easily. I think I'm done. #uefn #materials #unreal

I thought it would be cool to just make a material function to make quick tri-color blends. Came out pretty cool, not sure if I need the vertical scale as it pretty much does the same thing as the blend variable. #uefn #unreal #materials
