for a while now, i had been trying to wrap my head around state machines, but every attempt was either broken or too convoluted. today i finally gave up and just used the animation state machine to switch between the enemy’s behavior as well. is it a good idea? idk but right now im too tired to care

my godot project is going alright. i made an enemy testing scene (it lets me choose one of multiple enemies and makes them act like my cursor is the player) and then finally recreated my little bush enemy

i’ve been slowly cleaning my room, making it more habitable for myself, and decorating it. this is the first time in years that i’ve genuinely tried to do this (because of adhd and/or sharing a bedroom) and it’s been really fun. here’s a little thing i made and hung on my door
