There’s no place I loved seeing movies more than the Arclight cinema in LA. I made so many amazing memories there, and seeing movies there felt like magic. Real, cinematic magic. And every once in a while, you got to thank a cinema legend because they just might be roaming the halls too. Amazing. 🧡🤘🏼

Happy to report that #StrangerThings continues to rule. The first four episodes of the final season are really terrific so far, with four being a huge standout. It’s honestly some of the best storytelling the show has ever done, and the action sequence in it is bonkers. I’m thrilled.

Fangoria got into the eggnog a little early this year.

It's about shut-in paranoids arguing, while one of them spends all day out in a toolshed, and another won't get off the fucking couch

It's CLEARLY a Thanksgiving movie.

Candy was genuinely one of the greatest to do it. Period. It wasn’t a long flame, but it was an endlessly brilliant one full of so much talent and warmth. He could do anything, which made it all the sweeter. He could be the funniest guy in the room, and rip your heart out in the next scene. Genius.
You really could just put a tight camera on John Candy with nothing but him and the driver's seat of a car in frame and then watch him almost wordlessly do five of the funniest minutes in the history of movies.

Hosting my secret cinema movie night this weekend, and I’m just so stoked for it lol. It’s gonna be perfectly fun and silly in the best way. My friends are gonna love me and hate me for it… 😋🤘🏼

We are now further away from the theatrical release of Raiders of the Lost Ark (June 12, 1981) than it was from the year it takes place in (1936). We have reached the Indiana Jones event horizon.

Maaaaaan, why you gotta do me this way?! An impossible question…like, is it Thanksgiving without stuffing? But also, like…scalloped potatoes, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes…how can I choose?!
November 27, 2025 at 6:38 PM
Also, it’s Thanksgiving and I’m getting the house in order, so let’s go ahead and reup the #AMA for a bit!

Sometimes, you just watch The Godfather Epic for fun. I know it’s blasphemy, but I kinda prefer watching it this way…I think it’s a stunning masterpiece just as much this way. It’s a new way of experiencing the movies, and I love the chronological edit and all the added scenes.

I feel really lucky to live where I do sometimes. It’s nice being able to go on a late night walk, with my dog, and not worry about if anyone is out doing anything. My neighborhood is incredibly safe, so it feels nice to actually be able to get out late if I got home late. Hard to complain much.

Here’s to sixty two years of wibbly wobbly, timey wimey storytelling.
It just doesn't get better than #DoctorWho. 🧡🧡

This is so funny to me, what a good idea. Honestly, should have had Ant-Man eating Trolli bright crawlers in front of the other bugs and having them freak out over it. It would be so silly and fit the tone of those movies.

Oh I’m absolutely watching An Adventure in Time and Space and The Day of the Doctor today to celebrate #DoctorWho day, and then I’ll listen to The Light at the End, which is far and away one of my favorite @bigfinish.bsky.social stories. A good way to celebrate the different eras!

I would love for it be Glen Powell. I think he’d be really great in that role, but I also wouldn’t mind someone like Joe Kerry or Joseph Quinn. Both look the part pretty well and have the chops to make it dynamic as well.

Psycho, I genuinely think it’s arguably the finest horror film ever made. But a very close second for me is Scream, and not just because this question is very much pulled from that lol.
November 23, 2025 at 9:58 PM
Honestly, I don’t think so. I think they’ve always just been overall gunshy to really lean in on the events of that movie for a long time. Civil War at least opened the door, so I’m glad they’re doing it more. Even though I also think BNW shouldn’t have been a TIH sequel.

Definitely John Matrix, because he’s willing to kill. Something that Rambo doesn’t do in First Blood. 😉

CASSIDY: I know it's titillating, but I think we need to move beyond the titillation

TAPPER: This isn't about titillation. This is about the fact that you are the chairman of the health committee and you voted to confirm somebody that by all accounts is actually making America less healthy

Have you ever felt more alone than being in a crowded bar watching college football in a downtown district of your city, and no one else but you is at a table? Because that’s what I’m feeling in this moment, I hate to admit.

Finally got to check out my Frighteners 4K disc, and it was absolutely *stunning*, and damn it it didn’t sound incredible! One of my favorite upgrades on the format to date. This is my favorite Peter Jackson film, and I’m absolutely thrilled with how it turned out! #physicalmedia #TheFrighteners
