It was so great having you at @johninnescentre.bsky.social!

Some amazing conversations on AI in writing, teaching, and the importance of plants 🌾

Grateful to be a part of the @aspbofficial.bsky.social community ❤️

I'm Norwich to give a talk tomorrow, but came a day early to give a writing workshop. Wonderful to catch up with Cathie Martin, who hired me in 2009 when she was EIC of @theplantcell.bsky.social. Thanks to @ciara-obrien.bsky.social for being a great host & other @plantaeofficial.bsky.social fellows.
Top left = Mary and Cathie catch up over coffee and talk about books. Top right = Mary and Ciara take a photo opp in front of Cathie's world-renowned collection of Plant Cell covers. Middle = a fantastic, thoughtful, engaged group of ECRs who shared thoughts on writing and AI. Bottom, current, former, and maybe future Plantea Fellows after we shared our "origin stories" over lunch.
