The tradition to publish special magazines for the christmas season began in the early 20th century and when comics hit the scene the idea of making annual christmas releases of comics seemed natural. Thus was born the christmas album, starting in 1930 and continuing to this day.

She was a great character that got a little more development in the Avon novel & the team fantomen follow ups, I never liked that she just “retired”. We’ve gotten chance to play with an older version of the character; like you said, rare to use an older phantom. www.masoncomics.com.au/phantomfury
