Here's something I left on Within Earshot. This story does one of the best jobs at writing relationships and friendships that seem standard and ordinary on the surface, but that very quickly begin to show cracks and anomalies when you look a little deeper and analyse them a bit more closely.

Here's a snippet of a comment I left on Realms of Reverie. This is pretty early in the story, when these two girls are beginning to figure out their feelings... but things are never clear cut, and they still have so much to work through.

Was thinking about this convo I had this morning, I sometimes see this sentiment that including trans characters for the sake of it is just tokenising - don't fall into this trap. Trans people do have unique and interesting perspectives and stories to tell, but we also just, exist
