Dreamt about taking a toaster on a train and making breakfast for the whole carriage. Became a business called Toast Station. Made myself so hungry I couldn’t get back to sleep.

Wonderful. To think of finding something the master had worked on, handled, just sitting in a drawer.

Well now, would you look at that?

A massive study of NEARLY 300,000 people in the United States found that receiving an updated 2024-2025 mRNA COVID-19 vaccine REDUCED people’s risk of severe disease AND death in ALL age groups, REGARDLESS of immunity from prior infection or vaccination.

From the archive, 2004: fiction by Jackie Kay.

‘I wondered furiously if Martin Amis had put her up to that too. Perhaps there was something in one of his books that advised people in long-term relationships to stop doing everything that they used to enjoy doing.’

Seeing Yoko Ono’s show at Tate Modern was so inspiring. It struck me that war has been a major subject of art since ancient times; she is almost unique in choosing peace as a theme. Rare and precious.

Billed as one of the most comprehensive exhibitions of the multi-media creator's work, tracing back to the 1950s through her time with John Lennon, and as one of the key members of the Fluxus movement.

wikipedia's data shows that AI is siphoning traffic away from the site, which is a danger to its sustainability. ironically Wikipedia is more important than ever to users who want reliable information instead of slop, and to AI companies that need it for training data www.404media.co/wikipedia-sa...

Sincerely hope *their* parents aren’t having any more children. They’ve done quite enough damage.

I saw Lee Miller’s retrospective at the Tate today. Her photos of the devastation of Europe and the barbarity of Buchenwald camp moved me to tears. To see them is to stand in Lee’s shoes and witness the horrific results of Nazi beliefs, as she did. These c**ts should be forced to do the same.
