I have also finally painted the wheels black on my Balfour & Beatty YOB so that it matches my Jarvis/Fastline model.
Looks much better without those intrusive looking silver wheels.

The National Festival of Railway Modelling at the NEC has concluded this weekend, got to see a nice amount of layouts and of course a great variety of trade stalls.

Recieved the much awaited Balfour & Beatty YOB. Looks fab.
Completely sold out at ROS, heard that the warehouse at Bachmann is running low on these as well, not surprised really!

Made some slight improvements to my Jarvis YOB by painting part of the wheel black with some acrylic paint, it's a small detail but somehow improves the look of it.
I will be doing this to the Balfour & Beatty version as soon as I have it.
