My filing system has had a failure: Can anyone direct me to the book chapter on philosophy of science that says (as an aside)--some fields are improving methods, but social sciences have long decided not to be serious or relevant scientific enterprises? (quality diss) Or something like that.

Damn, I wanted to see consecutive World Series pitches or at least at bats to be homeruns. Joe Carter walked-off the World Series for the #BlueJays in 1993. Was hoping for a lead-off Springer Dinger today. Oh well, we’ll save that for another AB.

Did you see the article, maybe a week ago, describing how Canada could build our own, sovereign data centre(s) so we're not shackled to US? Something like $1billion, I think.

Surprising bonus: Other countries would send their data here for safety and security from US.
