#TV and #film friends, why are TV shows taking so much longer to make these days? Even effects-heavy, complicated shows The Expanse and Game of Thrones released a season every year. Now it seems shows take 2-3 years to release a season. It really kills the momentum for the storytelling.

When cinema is authentic, it does not merely console, but challenges. It articulates the questions that dwell within us, and sometimes, even provokes tears that we did not know we needed to express.
