I was torn when Homicide came out in 16x9 HD: While the 16mm negative scaled up beautifully, the added frame did pick up elements that included c-stands and other set elements. I was ok with it losing some of the SD "grittiness" but those framing errors were glaring.

So the NFL's new "virtual measurement" doesn't do anything to adjust a bad spot. It's the same as having the umpire in a MLB game make the call on a strike, but displaying a light instead of having him raise a fist.

The thing about pro-Trump posts on X is that due to the garbled syntax and idiotic ideas, it's impossible to tell if they are parody, from Russian trolls who don't fully grasp the language, or legitimate attempts by morons.
