I admire his commitment to showcasing overlooked indie games. But even more than that, I admire his commitment to really dumb opinions that constantly get people mad at him. He’s like a benign Matt Yglesias. I don’t even think he gets horny from it (Unlike mattyg). I think he is just very English.

I really don’t like and find repulsive how “pushing/pushed my shit in” is still common forum-era gamer shorthand for “a section of game/boss is really difficult.” Like “damn the optional boss of Clair Obscur is still pushing my shit in.” Oh so you’re saying this game is so hard it is fucking you in the ass?? And also you are not eating enough fiber, or your diet is so fucked, that you are not adequately evacuating your bowels?? Or are you just gaming while holding in a big poop, like a child?
