In my retrospective of "28 Days Later" I look at the camera choice (1990s digital camera) and my concerns over a 4K release. It may be lo-res and and dirty - but it's beautiful BECAUSE of that!

The improved Blu-ray picture resolution doesn't do the miniature sets and some of the costumes any favours. But the alien creatures look EVEN MORE impressive!

Godzilla's head from 'Ebirah, Horror of the Deep' was grafted to Godzilla's (beautiful) body from 'Mothra vs Godzilla' by Visual FX Legend Eiji Tsuburaya so he could stick a neck frill on it to create a Kaiju for his #Ultraman TV series.

This costume features in Star Slammer - it was one of *many* things borrowed from other productions. It's actually a great costume and I'm glad it was repurposed. The film might be a bit poor, but Ross Hagan was great to watch as Captain Bantor.

Lifeforce (1985) is a sci-fi/vampire movie with some amazing practical effects. It often appears in lists of must-watch B-Movies.

As a kid, my brother and I would watch Godzilla movies, and we disagreed on Godzilla's best 'entry'. I personally loved him emerging from the ground in Mothra Vs Godzilla (1964), it just felt so different to his usual walking out of the sea!
