Applying to graduate jobs is somehow 10x more depressing than applying for placement years.
Every single job has a psychometric assessment that I will seemingly never pass. No employer wants to even read your CV until you pass IQ tests
I thought having a year of experience would help, but nah.

Don't think I can actually play bass anymore. Played two songs, wrist pain flares up. Bit sad about that. Oh well. Guess I just didn't take good care of my tendons/wrists and now I've gotta deal with that

beginning to realise that doing this as a final year project is gonna involve A LOT of programming and messing with the esp32's timers and LEDC stuff. It'll also involve doing PCB designs... i've never designed a PCB before. I have no idea what I am doing. God dammit

I really wish drumming was cheaper for me to do. Either I pay for a rehearsal space, which was almost 40 quid for 4 hours on Saturday.
Or I only get a half hour timeslot at my uni's drum rooms
