Potted History: Ancient maker of replica ancient pottery, shaper of clay, builder of kilns, maker of tools, Experimental archaeology: Ceramic Technology. Prehistory Neolithic, Bronze-Age, Iron-Age, Roman, Anglo-Saxon and Mediaeval.
There is indeed, and surrounded by other significant archaeological features; cup and ring marked rocks and burial cairns. A place I've known since childhood and a major influence on my career.

Great work, and I truly understand Sandi's emotions. I've often replicated this Bronze Age pot from, Breamish Valley, Northumberland. It's beautifully made and was found containing an infant cremation, laid to rest with love and respect over 3000 years ago, deeply moving. #AncienBluesky🏺#Archaeology

Replica Roman pottery hunt cup, decorated en Barbotine, that is using slip or liquid clay piped on, in a technique a little like cake icing. Once it's been dried, colour coated and fired, you'll find it on our website potted-history.co.uk #AncientBluesky 🏺#Archaeology #Pottery

Our driver this morning, was most insistent that he needed to photograph the entire delivery of packing materials on our doorstep before we took it in. It may have been his first day on the job 🤣🤣

It's been one heck of a year, with both @potsofhistory.bsky.social and I battling cancer, but we're both clear at time of posting. For me one of the only positives has been losing sufficient weight to wear my "medium" 2013 Burnning the Circle T-shirt. Https://potted-history.co.uk

I've found playing on Sudoku.com to be relaxing but really, is this the kind of advertising that your average user wants?? Attempts at Body shaming women? This user won't be back!
