Physics isn’t subjective. Your personal opinion of someone, whether you dislike or admire them, should have zero influence on how you evaluate their research.

Had the pleasure of spending this afternoon talking about cosmology, my journey here to Duke, and more with the wonderful hosts of the KnowmadsPodcast. 🎙️
Follow them to catch their episodes—my recording will be up soon and I’ll share it here!

What amazes me is that the most famous realist interpretation of quantum mechanics, Many Worlds, came from Everett, whose only published contribution was his PhD thesis.

A PhD in physics goes beyond completing assigned tasks. It means questioning the foundations, reading papers to trace derivations, identifying open problems, and developing the physical intuition to connect formalisms with real phenomena, the kind that keeps you up at night.

Proud of my students who presented their work at the @apsphysics.bsky.social Global Physics summit this week! They all did a great job, and enjoyed their experience too!

Went for Puppy Yoga yesterday, 10/10 would recommend. For those who don’t know the concept, there’s a puppy who teaches yoga. Idk who taught him yoga but he apparently just kept doing the ‘downward facing dog’ 🤷‍♀️
