When we started SigNoz, we wanted to build an "open" observability platform :
- Open Source
- Based on open standards (OpenTelemetry)
- Gives you flexibility to host in your infra if needed
and didn't surprise you with unpredictable bills at the end of the month

We shipped our 100th release of SigNoz, and on the same day we hit 500 paid customers.
Completely unplanned.
Looking at the growth curve, almost all 500 came in the past 12 months.

we handcrafted a cursed little trivia to make you go what-the-colon. any arcane YAML we missed?
think you cracked it? flex (or confess) your score in the comments 🤣

We are continuing to define the standards in open source observability.
One feature I am particularly excited about is Trace funnels where you can analyse user journeys and conversion funnels directly from your traces,

We moved from sequential to concurrent processing architecture and that have us some good perf improvement

If you are still running prom-grafana-loki stack, may be good time to check SigNoz out :)
You can either self-host it or just use SigNoz cloud

Shaped are finding lot more value by moving from multiple, siloed tools to a single pane for observability with SigNoz 🚀

The easy answer is that it was never about just writing code on your laptop. That part is getting automated.
The harder answer is about what’s left for engineers to do.

It’s a comparison you'll never win, and it's the fastest way to kill your own momentum.
When we were starting SigNoz, it was easy to look at established players and feel we were miles behind.

So we built DevOps Wordle. A quick, daily game to sharpen your observability skills: signoz.io/todaysdevops...
I played today’s word and got it in 4 guesses (tough one!)
