Well my mom responded pretty much exactly like I thought she would. Now I'm faced with the choice of possibly cutting her off (again) and having to explain to my 5yo that she doesn't respect us and can't be nice about it so we may not be talking to her for a while..

Finally texted my mom to tell her that my son is a boy and uses he/him pronouns and it took forever for her to reply just with "I can't respond to this yet ..."
I feel sick. I already cried when I sent the original text. I don't want this to end up being a big deal like when I first came out to her.
