Today's #BlueSkyArtChallenge is #XtraXmas and #geese. Here are my entries. First, two #EgyptianGeese looking me over as I #photograph along the #ZambeziRiver in #Botswana. The second photo is the same pair of geese chasing a #NileCrocodile away. They showed absolutely no fear of the croc. #Africa

Although there are many other good photos of the recent full, super-moon, allow me to add mine. Full disclosure, this was taken using an iPhone 14 Pro Max attached to a spotting scope. I'm still learning how to set this up, so clarity should improve. #LunarPhotography #photography #Moon

A Costa Rican turkey for #BirdOfTheDay #stripes
One of these flew into the picture window of our casita, bounced into our hot tub, and died as we watched. It was pretty traumatizing. 😭
Hopefully, I'll learn how to take better bird photos.

This is a beautiful red-shouldered hawk. As I was photographing a night heron, I noticed this beauty standing in the snag above it. I didn't see it until it made its loud shrieking cry. I mashed the shutter when it looked at me. #photography #wildlife #wildlifephotography #EastCoastKin #birds #hawks
