0.2 in five years? That's a hell of a ROI to try to push acceptance on. "Look, you can potentially invest billions and still maybe only gain less than a percentage point in efficiency, maybe five years from now." I can increase payrolls for far less for far more concrete results.

I've seen simple plastic models that work quite well for as little as $5 US. Jonest has an excellent kit which includes everything you probably need to start off with for about $10.

My only real suggestion is to buy your own press. They aren't expensive at all and even the cheaper ones provide a bunch of different size pins for the different link connectors. The best ones rely on a simple screw to push the pins out which keeps them cheap and controllable.
