The Trump regime has given us a wake-up call. We cannot allow Canada to be reliant on any country the way we are on the U.S. We need to run our country as we decide, that can't happen when another country will not honour their agreements and then hold our wellbeing hostage to their demands.

I think you’ll all discover that your constitution isn’t worth the paper it was written on. The only way you’ll “unfuck” your country is to write a significant number of amendments, and there’s no way in hell that’ll happen. Too bad.

Your Supreme Court has made prosecution of the President a near impossibility, that protection should not extend to the cabinet members and certainly doesn't extend to the military members that carried out this illegally ordered murder of the injured. This is a clear war crime.

The U.S. will not be part of the ICC, because they want to be able to commit war crimes and crimes against humanity without prosecution risk. There are a large and increasing number of Americans, however, that are going to have to be careful what countries they travel to in the future. Arrest them!

That's fine, as long as you think one candidate is equally bad or good as the other. One candidate is going to win, there is no election I'm aware of where the candidate was perfect, so the electorate is always making a choice between the lesser/better of the two, not giving carte blanche on mandate

In fact, it should be viewed as 2/3 of eligible voters supported Trump. 1/3 by voting for him and the other 1/3 by not voting. If the 1/3 that didn't vote were going to vote for him anyway it would only increase his win margin, if they would have voted for Harris, by not voting they helped him win.

Where I live, Standard Time in the summer means the sun would rise at 4:00 in June and set and 20:00. So, by staying on ST, I gain an hour of daylight when I'm sleeping & lose an hour of daylight when I can actually enjoy it... No thanks. btw most people switch their weekend sleep by an hour anyway.

While some people may be surprised by this (and other Trump inhumanities), no one should be. As to who voted for this, 1/3 of eligible voters actively voted for it and another 1/3 effectively supported Trump by not voting in the most consequential election in the last 100 years (at least).

The U.S. under the Trump regime has made it clear that no country can or should rely on the U.S. for its' economic and defensive capabilities. Allies are necessary in the world, but reliance on any one nation is existentially dangerous. Economic and technological dependence is at least as dangerous.

1/3 of eligible voters voted for him, and 1/3 couldn’t be bothered to vote in the most consequential election in the last 100 years. He’s in power, for the second time, because 2/3 of Americans supported him…either directly or indirectly.
