Updates from #mnwild morning skate in the Burgh: Zach Bogosian will return to the blue line tonight for the first time in more than a month. Daemon Hunt scratched. And Nico Sturm will not play tonight, but is more likely to make his second Minnesota debut in Winnipeg on Sunday.

A few updates from #mnwild morning skate at Carolina: Jones centering the 4th line again (Yurov scratched). Hunt making his season debut on D tonight (Jiricek scratched). Zuccarello took a few line rushes but won’t play tonight. Gustavsson in goal.

Cool story out of Warroad last night: when his grandson was unavailable to run his great grandson’s bantam practice, former RPI/New Hampshire/North Dakota coach Rube Bjorkman, 97, came to the rink and put the kids through their drills.

Last time I was in this pressbox (April 2014) there was a college kid named Connor Hellebuyck sitting next to me, and then the #gophers gave up a touchdown to Union.

According to this, perhaps the Falcons actually were not the fearsome powerhouse that the Vikings made them appear to be. 🤷

It’s 0-0 after 20 minutes between the #mnwild and #Blackhawks prospects. One fight, lots of hits, and undersized Minnesota prospect Adam Benak has ridiculous skill and hockey sense. As one person in the know told me, “He’s short, but he’s not small.”
