I really enjoyed Gus Van Sant's hostage thriller #DeadMansWire which gets an awards-qualifying run on 12/12. It's Bill Skarsgard as another jittery character on the fringe, and I like that Van Sant plays into the surreal aspects of this true hostage crisis.
