I don't see why it's wrong for me to want to be paid for my labor the same as anyone else in the working class.

In a perfect world,yeah I wouldn't have to pay shit like rent because housing would be free same as food and Healthcare because people would just want to take care of each other as a community. But that isn't the world I live in right now.

I mean my utopian pipe dream is the same as yours, I just have to survive in this current world with megacorps already having an insane amount of power, and I'd rather not give them any more by saying they can just have my labor for free.

Without copyright,there would be no class action lawsuit against meta at all. Idk i make art, and I like owning what I put effort into, artwork is stolen enough already without it just being made totally legal and ok.

Intellectual Property also exists to protect small artists though. Makes it harder for massive corporations to just wholesale steal the work of others. Small artists gotta make a living too.
