Not fair. This administration tells the American people lots of things. It's just that few are germane and most are not true.
Since this administration doesn’t want to tell the American people anything, if god forbid some threat comes our way, while the republican cowards run for cover,
Americans will have to fend for themselves

Perhaps not continent-wide. I'm sure Orban would approve.
it is now explicit US policy to interfere in European politics to the benefit of the anti-immigrant right, something that would be causing continent-wide paroxysms of outrage if it was Putin's regime saying it and not Trump's

Not in the first year of his second term, no.
Later? If the cult holds together, maybe.
hey do you think there's any chance Trump will try to cancel Christmas and make it Trump Day?

We need accountability especially because the GOP have been the party demanding accountability for every penny spent in research grants and welfare disbursements.
Sauce for the gander.
We can’t stay silent as Trump and Hegseth carry out extra-judicial killings. We need accountability.

And this is different from other conducts of politics how?
A history prof I read here said that war is politics conducted in another way, and an extension of policy. He's quoting Clausewitz and he's not wrong; it's embedded in the US military.

But I think he, Clausewitz and the Us are all wrong. War is the expression of fear, greed and the lust for power

And the Congress that is supposed to provide checks and balances is weaker than either.
It’s true that Trump is weak. Unfortunately the press who cover him are weaker.
