More recently, I've made several baby quilts and machine sewn bias tape for the binding. My most recent quilt was larger. I made my binding-machine sewn on the front, hand sewn on the back. I had forgotten just how long that takes! Anyway, thanks for the laugh-just hand sew an extra large quilt😂

And that was a lot to rip out. No long arm here. Most of the time I get that mess, my machine locks up so I don't have as much to rip out.

I'm always impressed with the one-a-month crowd, too! Half my problem is that I've lost my dedicated space, so I'm clearing off the kitchen table between meals (and my son eats snacks!) and hauling out the sewing machine each time. Anyway, I enjoy sewing, but I am slow.

No, no, no! You are much faster than me. My closest comparable quilt is 10% done and I'm several years along now. My new goal is one quilt per year to justify buying more fabric.
