You can always just do swatches with different hook sizes to see how you like the density of the fabric. For my amis, I like a 4mm hook with worsted weight, but your tension will affect what you like!

I find it's a little more stretchy than your typical chain, just FYI, if you need to measure out the item you are making yourself. I use it as a base for bracelets I make and when I did the chain, I would do 50-55 stitches, now I do 40-45.

Have you tried doing a foundation single crochet row? It lets you make the first row at the same time as you make the chain.

They are gorgeous! Would you be open to commissions in the future? I would like to get a wood shuttle with a hook, but none of the ones you have currently call to me.

Living in larger groups is one of the reasons science thinks we outlived our Neanderthal cousins, too.

You know, I hadn't thought of that but I do collect reference books because it's easier for me to find something in a physical copy versus digital. Dual purpose!

Why share AI gen stuff when you can share the cool things people actually make like the woman who made a replica of herself and her dog?

My favorite Japanese place closed around 2012? I found out two days after my birthday. T_T They were always so kind to me, even letting me pay double next time when their debit was down once.
