Reminder that ADHD is a disability, so demeaning someone over a symptom of their ADHD is ableism.
And while problematic in everyday relationships, it could become a discrimination lawsuit if it’s happening in the workplace, in housing, in healthcare, or in education settings.

I very rarely have people over at my house, so my cats usually dive under the closest piece of furniture as soon as a stranger enters the house. But recently I had a new friend over briefly & not only did all 3 of them stick around to check out the new person, they even sniffed their hand!

If you say something bigoted in front of me at a party don’t think for one second that I won’t tank the whole vibe of everyone present by pulling out an impromptu hour length PPT presentation on all the reasons why what you said is problematic.

Thankfully I’m at the point in my people pleasing recovery that finding out someone doesn’t like me isn’t the end of the world like it used to be (especially when I don’t like them either), but it *is* aggravating when I have to be around them on a regular basis 😓

If I didn’t wear long sleeves and pants all the time I swear I would be getting asked regularly if I was in an abusive relationship. I’m not, I’m just very clumsy apparently 🥲

Anyone else thinking about whether all the women freaking out in concern for the safety of a celebrity’s partner (Bianca Censori) have said a single thing about any of the ongoing genocides? I wonder if they consider the women losing their lives in them to be equal to hers?

I told a man to stay safe as he left to go out after dark, and he was offended and said “I’m a grown man”. Friend I know perfectly well that you’re grown but why are you reacting negatively to another person genuinely wishing you safety?
