Depending on your political affiliation, what about Lulu the Red Pander? :3 Red pandas are closer to ferrets than grizzlies, and twice as cute.

This isn't the best picture of her, but Morvahna from Hordes / War Machine comes to mind for non-black goth aesthetic. The picture is also remarkably light on blood spatters for her usual look.
